The 4 wheeled CarvX Bike
This is a WPSimpleViewerGallery
The CarvX is a 4 wheeled offroad/street bike that uses both the arms and the legs to pedal and steer, but the driver is situated in a racing seat at the center of the vehicle. All four wheels tilt using the steering system which resembles the act of carving in snow sports. The CarvX has distinct advantages over regular bicycles such as speed and stability. The recumbent bike can achieve top speed with much less effort than a traditional bike. And thanks to the stability of a 4 wheeled bike, it is an impossibility to lose control or fall. So you can take the CarvX to the slopes and shred down mountains, carving back and forth, and not have to worry about taking a major fall. The mountain bike tires are suitable for any terrain, so off-roading is encouraged. Some specs include: an all aluminum frame, quad hydraulic disc brakes, and four independent wishbone suspensions, which enable the wheels to tilt and carve. No word on pricing, but contact information is available, so there might be purchase options. [Via Tuvie]
