After years of development, Philips just announced the first Quad Full Autosteroscopic 3D HDTV that has four times the standard resolution of any other HDTV (3,840 x 2,160 or 8.29 million pixels!). In addition to the absurdly large resolution, the TV is capable of churning through data at lightning fast rate. Thanks to the high resolution and data processing, the TV can handle 46 views at once, which is what gives the picture a 3D appearance. So no more of those blue and red glasses; this TV will display an image that produces an image with depth and clarity. Compared to IMAX 3D or any other typical 3D display, the Philps 3D HDTV will display an image 23 times better. Awesome. No information of availability, but it should run you upwards towards 25k.
